Joseph G. Hahn first joined Cheesequake Volunteer Fire Department, Old Bridge Twp., NJ, in 1987, where he volunteered until being hired by Fire District No. 2, Old Bridge Township, as a career firefighter in April of 2002. There his duties included fire inspections. During this time, Joseph obtained his Fire Official License. In 2010, Joseph Hahn became a Career firefighter in Winslow Township and received additional certifications, including EMT.  

In March of 2023, Joseph Hahn was assigned to the Bureau of Fire Prevention and handled Business and residential sale inspections.  In January 2024, Joseph Hahn was sworn in as the Fire Official for Winslow Township and the Borough of Chesilhurst.  Fire Official Hahn now handles inspections along with overseeing all inspections for both Winslow Twp. and Chesilhurst Communities, and is involved in all Township events, such as the 4^th of July, Juneteenth and Family Day celebrations.
