3/17/2020 - COVID-19 ACTIONS

As you are all aware the impact of the COVID-19 virus has been far reaching. Its implications have impacted us all. We are continuing to meet with our partners and constantly evaluating the situation. To protect our community and our First Responders we will be taking the following actions:

1. Our Fire District office will be closed to the general public seeking to perform routine business matters. Business can be done over the phone (609-561-4225) or through our website (www.winslowtwpfd.org). This closure may be up to thirty (30) days, but will be evaluated on a daily basis.

2. All Fire Stations are restricted from visits from family, friends and the general public. All tours and Fire Prevention visits are postponed up to thirty (30) days, but will be evaluated on a daily basis.

3. All Public Relation and Education events are postponed up to thirty (30) days, but will be evaluated on a daily basis.

4. Certain fire code enforcement activities shall continue but will be limited and determined on a daily basis.

These actions are unfortunate; however we must preserve our ability for continuity of operations. They are at of an abundance of caution as we take the safety of the community and our staff very seriously. We greatly enjoy our relationship with our community and business partners and we hope you understand the need for these actions. We are all in this together and our main goal is to continue to provide you with the proper level of Fire and Rescue service.
